I always have stacks of papers I want to get through, and it's been so nice to finally find an app that allows me to listen to them on the go with a naturalistic voice. Would recommend!

This app is a MUST for anyone in academics. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and I'm already sold. I'm in grad school at the moment and almost all of our reading are academic articles. It takes me ages to get through them every week and by the end it feels like my eyes are going to fall out of my head.

Amazingly fast to download and love being able to listen to papers as my eyes get tired when reading for long periods, where has this app been all my life!

Great way to listen to papers during my commute. Finally, a voice that doesn't sound like a robot.

Already thoroughly impressed! I've used Natural Reader for a while, but this is cheaper, designed specifically for academic papers (e.g., organizes into typical paper sections like abstract and findings), and, in my opinion, has a more natural flow in the AI voice. HIGHLY recommend!

The app is impressive, easy to listen to, no robotic voice, easy to use. Productive use of my driving time. Would recommend.

I tried a lot of text-to-speech apps before finding listening. From the purpose of reading academic books or papers it takes the top spot. It reliable skips footnotes and other content I do not want read out, and this cannot be said for other apps. I’m impressed.

Brilliant app! I have dyslexia and have previously used Otter, Text Help, and Glean. This reader outshines all dramatically. The text display is very clear while listening. The pronunciation is fantastic, and the app allows you to report mispronunciations (which happen rarely). My favorite part is that you can turn off citations so the text reads smoothly, and you can easily skip unimportant information. The note feature is an added bonus too. This app was clearly created by people who care!

Useful every day! This app legit turns anything into a podcast you can listen to in seconds. I can finally listen to all the newsletters and essays I'm subscribed to without spending hours in my email inbox! In particular, I appreciate using this app for long walks, chores around the house, and exercise. Listening also hooks up directly into any podcasting app so you don't need to manage more apps or sources of content, which is pretty nice.

What a great app! The reading voice is pleasant and understandable, even on the harder words. Having the text available to read along helps also. Naturally, as with any new app, there are bugs. But support is readily available. Highly recommend this for anyone doing research or just keeping up with the latest articles.

This works surprisingly well—minimalistic app but the magic is in the background. Share PDFs to it and listen while taking a walk! Ideal for me.

Perfect for converting large texts into audio. And when they added support for parallel reading along with the audio—I was blown away! It became significantly faster, easier, and clearer to absorb textbooks.

Great app! Helpful for academics. I've been using this app to listen to scholarly articles, and it's great. Works as promised: good at skipping content that doesn't need to be read aloud; good at translating niche terms into audio. Highly recommend for anyone who has to read a lot of academic content.

Amazing! This is my new favorite app! Uploading PDFs is so easy on the phone, and the narration sounds very natural! Perfect for listening to academic papers (or any other texts)—so convenient and saves so much time!

This is the best TTS service I've used so far. However, there are occasional glitches with the note-taking feature where I click the button, but the text doesn't register. It essentially creates a blank note instead. Another glitch is that the words cut off at the last syllable sometimes like (change...s). A fix for these would greatly improve this app Thank you for making this! It's a huge help as a visually-impaired student.
