CHARACTER IS THE GREATEST POWER
How a simple life created an extraordinary legacy
Good evening. What makes a person truly great? Is it the position they hold? The wealth they accumulate? The power they command? Or is it something much deeper.
the character they carry when nobody is watching? Today, I want to take you through the life of a man who answered that question through the way he lived.
A man who came from poverty, faced hardship, went to prison for India's freedom, rose to become the Prime Minister of the country-and yet remained remarkably simple.
His story is not just a story of political achievement. It is a story of character.
A child who refused to let circumstances define him
A child who refused to let circumstances define him
Born on two October nineteen oh four, Lal Bahadur Shastri lost his father when he was very young. His family lived with financial difficulties.
Yet poverty did not make him feel defeated. It made him resilient.
As a young boy, he had to overcome difficulties simply to attend school. And these early struggles became the foundation of his personality. He learned an important lesson very early: We may not choose our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond to them. That lesson stayed with him throughout his life.
