MAIN SPECIALIZATIONS IN ZOOLOGY
MAIN SPECIALIZATIONS IN ZOOLOGY
Zoology is the scientific study of behavior, structure, physiology, classification, and distribution of animals.
Genetics
The term Zoology came from the Greek words "zoion" or "zoon", meaning animal, and "logos" which is "to study".
Histology
It is one of the broadest fields in all science due to the variety and complexity of animal life and processes.
Molecular Biology
There are more than one point four million described species of animals.
Parasitology
Many more (an estimated six to seven million) are yet to be described.
Physiology
Most zoologists specialize by studying the particular functional, structural, or ecological aspects of one or more animal groups.
