. Self-concept can be defined as the view one has of him or herself and his or her abilities.
. The term refers to how someone thinks about, evaluates, or perceives themselves. To be aware of oneself is to have a concept of oneself.

. It is a sense of oneself. The definitions and images one associates with his or her being which differentiates him or her from others.
