Purgatives: da huang is used unprocessed for constipation and yang ming fu, stop bleeding, detoxifying or process with wine for blood stasis; mang xiao is alty and used to soften hardened stool; fan xie ye dosage is one point five to three for habitual constipation; lu hui is for constipation with liver heat.
Moist Laxatives - huo ma ren plus yu li ren for chronic constipation due to def yu li ren for constipation, yi yi ren for diarrhea, yu li ren is not yi yi ren, but both have diuretic function
Class Two. Harsh expellant : ba dou is to chop through the gate, forcefully open the door; Herbs that drain dampness: most herbs are plain, blank, plain taste: Fu ling is for promoting urination, tonify sp qi; fu shen is used to calm shen; zhu ling is used to pair with fu ling for draining low jiao dampness, zhu ling stronger than fu ling; hua shi is for Lin syndrome due to damp heat wrap to cook; yi yi ren is similar with fu ling for low jiao dampness and to tonify sp qi, but also for fixed bi and lung abscess; dong gua zi is to expel pus for lung abscess not dong kui zi; mu tong is for heart fire transfer to SI, promote lactation and unblock vessel; chuan mu tong is safe; guan mu tong is toxic because it contains aristolochic acid renal toxic; tong cao is used to promote lactation; deng xin cao is for children heart fire.

zhu ru is sweet cold and for heat phlegm and for nausea due to heat in stomach; kun bu and hai zao are used for phlegm nodule (not for cough, phlegm); pang da hai is used for mild sore throat or constipation as tea therapy.
Warm herbs that transform non-heat phlegm:
Ban xia is acrid and warm toxic and DISPERSING and is number one damp phlegm and any kind of nausea and vomiting or phlegm nodules and non substantial phlegm like plum pit qi;
jie geng is ascending, and opens up and disseminates the flow of lung qi and used for any cough, phlegm and for sore throat and for lung abscess and for guiding upward (do not use for hemoptysis), is able to use for hypertension; xuan fu hua is used to direct lung qi and st qi downward;
bai jie zi is for cold phlegm and non substantial phlegm in channels causing yin type sore;
bi bai fu zi and tian nan xing are for wind phlegm;
tian nan xing is acrid, hot and toxic; dan nan xing is bitter, cold and non toxic (it comes from tian nan xing which process with bile for heat phlegm);
bai qian goes downward and is for non heat phlegm;
zao jiao ci is used to accelerate the ulceration process and help pus to erupt fast. Quiz three (four percent)
Herbs that relieve coughing and wheezing:
Xing ren goes downward and is for any cough and constipation and is commonly paired with jie geng as opposite direction for any kind of cough and phlegm (do not use for infant);
zi yuan and kuan dong hua are a pair for any cough, phlegm and zi yuan is better for phlegm but kuan dong hua is better for cough;
pi pa ye is used to process with honey for lung heat and st heat; Bai bu is number one for TB, for itching skin, lice, flea, pinworm; sang bai pi is for cough wheezing due to lung heat and edema; ting li zi is used to drain phlegm accumulation for severe lung disorders.

Aromatic herbs that transform dampness:
Huo xiang plus pei lan and bai dou kou are for dampness of middle; cao dou kou and Cao guo are both for damp and cold;
bai dou kou, cao dou kou, cao guo are from same family;
sha ren and above are all aromatic;
hou po is non aromatic and is used for bloating gas due to any kind of causes and for asthma; cang zhu is non aromatic, strongly dries middle jiao dampness;
Herbs that relieve food stagnation:
Shan zha is for greasy food and to remove blood stasis, decrease blood lipid (avoid for acid reflux);
mai ya plus gu ya are for starchy food but mai ya is stronger and it also inhibits lactation;
shen qu and ji nei jin are most strongest, can be used alone, for stone and to secure essence; lai fu zi is for food, phlegm and directs lung qi and st qi downward;
Herbs that regulate qi:
Chen pi is for st gi stagnation and white color phlegm and for rich herb side effect;
qing pi is for liver gi both from same plant, botanic origin;

Class twelve. Exam two (twenty percent) Herbs that regulate qi:
Da fu pi is for bloating and gas due to any causes and promotes urination; zhi shi breaks up gi stagnation and feature for focal distention;

Pu huang has an astringent nature, stir fry for stop bleeding anywhere and used unprocessed for moving the blood anywhere, feature for hematuria;
xian he cao is astringent in nature, stop bleeding, stop diarrhea BUT not for blood stasis;
san qi is most effective herb for bleeding and blood stasis anywhere and is the chief herb from Yun Nan Bai Yao bai ji for bleeding from lung and st;
da ji is used to stop bleeding due to heat anywhere;
xiao ji pair with da ji, it is better than da ji and is effective for hematuria;
