Mesenchyme
The cartilage originates from the Mesenchyme.
It is an embryonic connective tissue meaning it can differentiate into almost any cell type.
Condense and differentiate into chondrocytes.
The mesenchymal cells condense and eventually differentiate into chondrocytes, then cartilage. (Describing Figure two).
