An Act To Enhance The Mobility Of Disabled Persons By Requiring Certain Buildings, Institutions, Establishments And Public Utilities To Install Facilities And Other Devices

INTENT

In order to promote the realization of the rights of disabled persons, no permit for the construction, repair, or renovation of buildings for public use shall be granted or issued unless facilities or features to enhance the mobility of disabled persons are incorporated.

The IRR of BP three hundred forty-four provides for minimum requirements and standards to make buildings, facilities and utilities for public use accessible to disabled persons.
